Su2-LM is a late maturing hybrid sorghum sundangrass is the answer for the stockman or dairyman who wants high yields with sweet flavor and juicy stalks.  Su2-LM is 25 to 30 days later in flowering than currently grown conventional sorghum sundangrass hybrids.  This allows for production of additional dry matter.  Su2-LM has exceptional drought resistance, excellent tillering and regrowth capability.  Su2-LM is not photo period sensitive and can be planted at any day length and still take advantage of the added delay in maturity.  Su2-LM should be planted in early spring as soon as soil temperature reaches 65 degrees F. or warmer.
