38 Special BMR is a multi purpose brown midrib hyrid sorghum sudangrass that is outstanding for hay or grazing.  When left to maturity it will produce a non tannin grain head, qualifying it for LDP payment.  38 special BMR is outstanding in both palatability and food quality.  When grazed it will produce up to 100% more daily weight gains than conventional sorghum sudangrass.  Milk production increases dramatically when dairy cattle graze 38 Special BMR.  The 6-7 feet tall plants have broad leaves with excellent tillering and regrowth characteristics.
